PRES. BENJAMIN "BENNE" M. ALTAREJOS, " Follow your Rotary Dream", RY 1998-1999
President Benne Altarejos remained focused towards providing the same kind of attention that has been given to our adopted barangay Sto. Niņo. At the start of his term, he organized a fumigation project to drive way the festering dengue bearing mosquitoes in the area. The Club continued to provide support to its RVC in the area, which has been providing pre-school education to the indigent children in the area. In addition, the Club has now embarked on a campaign to construct the second floor of the day care center, which will be the permanent venue for the Club's medical-dental missions in the area. The Club is now amidst an ambitious program, which is the urban reforestation program, which is aimed at planting a string of trees in various areas in the metropolis to ease the worsening pollution problem. During President Benne's term, the club transferred a new venue at the Prince of Wales for its regular meeting.
