PRESIDENT ANTONIUTTI "NEWTON" K. PALAŅA, "Mankind is our Business" RY 2001 -2002

Entering its 20th year of existence, the club was to be led by President Newton. The Club was expected to continue on with its core number of young, energetic and committed Rotarians pursuing several projects to further propagate the cause of Rotary. It has set its eyes on improving its membership base by inviting new members and involving them in the existing club projects. However, to the clubs astonishment, President Newton disappeared after a few months and the club was left without leadership. President-elect Marcus Antonius "Tony" T. Andaya, reluctantly, assumed office. Governor Rudy Estrellado was very supportive and helped the Club survive the crisis. The board kept on meeting to weather the leadership vacuum and decided to have PE Tony to continue as the new President but still ensuring him that he can continue as president with a full term, the following year.
